Kathy Vanar, President and Founder of Vanar HR Services, LLC, has over twenty years of senior level human resources experience.
Prior to founding Vanar HR Services, LLC, Kathy was the National Sales Recruiter for Great-West Healthcare, where she developed, implemented and managed a recruitment program focused on recruiting sales professionals and staff.
Prior to that she was affiliated with New England Financial as the National Sales Recruiter for the employee benefits sales division and as a human resources generalist in the corporate headquarters in Boston. While at New England Financial she held the position of Equal Opportunity Officer, responsible for the firm’s equal opportunity program which included investigating allegations of discrimination along with conducting fair employment practices training for all managers. In this role she enabled effective employee advocacy and ensured that the role was perceived as an objective employee resource and escalation path for unresolved employee relations issues.
Kathy attended the University of Massachusetts and holds a BA in Politics; and Northeastern University where she received a Masters Degree in Public Administration. She is certified as a Professional in Human Resources by the Society of Human Resources Management Certification Institute.
